When it comes to your mental health, do what you can to look after it!
In my role of a funeral celebrant, it can be quite hard not to take on board other peoples grief. Subconsciously we take on other people’s problems and that in turn can have a negative effect on our mental well being.
Take 10 or 15 minutes to get out in the fresh air. No music, podcast or other people to distract you.
Listen to what is around you: the birds singing, children playing, just life doing its thing.
You will be surprised just how far those few minutes each day takes you.
